Reservation deposit

Your reservation deposit is non refundable.

Hire Drive Endorsement

It is hereby understood and agreed that this insurance covers the insured vehicle subject to the following conditions:

  • The insured shall verify the permanent address of the hire and any other permitted driver by means other than relying solely on the information contained in the hirers or drivers licence and that such person is not among the excluded persons enumerated below.
  • The insured vehicle shall not be let out on hire to or driven by:
    • Persons aged under 23 or over 75
    • Persons who have held a driving licence for less than 24 months.
    • Persons who have been convicted of an offence in connection with the driving of a motor vehicle or motorcycle and/or have had their driving licence endorsed or suspended or penalty point imposed. Parking and not more than two speeding offences in the past three years may be ignored. ‹Spent› Convictions covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 may be disregarded.
    • Persons who have any mental or physical defect, or infirmity or suffers from fits, diabetes or any heart complaint.
    • Persons who have had their insurance declined and/or renewal refused and/or special insurance terms imposed as a result of claims experience and/or have had their insurance cancelled by any Motor insurer.
    • Persons engaged wholly or partly in professional entertainment or professional sports persons.
    • Jockeys or persons connected with racing of any sort.
    • Undergraduates and/or students under 25 years of age
    • Persons who whilst driving have been involved in more than one accident in the past 3 years.
    • Foreign Service Personnel other than persons born in the UK
    • The insured vehicle shall be driven by only the Hirer or other permitted driver who has completed an signed a Hires Proposal Form immediately before any hiring.
    • The insured vehicle shall not be used for the carriage of goods of an explosive, dangerous or hazardous nature or the carriage of goods or passengers for hire or reward or any other form of profit or re-numeration
    • I further agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Insurance which I have seen and read or have had the opportunity to see and read.

Driver Agreement

  • I have read and understood the Hire Drive Endorsement above and agree to abide by the conditions therein (see above)
  • I have checked all the details and they are correct
  • I have read and agree with the Booking Conditions
  • I have received the vehicle in a clean condition with a full fuel tank.
  • I am willing to accept a mileage allowance of 100 miles per day, and will pay 30p per mile for any miles above that amount used during my hire.
  • I will return the vehicle in a clean condition with a full fuel tank on the date and time agreed.
  • I will acknowledge any damage that has occurred during my period of rental immediately on return of the vehicle, and allow the security deposit to be put towards repair.
  • I agree to pay the excess for any damage occurring during my period of hire. The insurance excess for this booking is £750.00. The driver will be liable for part or all of the value of the excess in the event of the vehicle or its contents being damaged and/or a claim being made.
  • I understand that the owners have no obligation to provide replacement vehicle or refund any money, should I cease to have the use of the vehicle during the hire period for any reason e.g.: Accident, weather, breakdown or theft.
  • I agree to pay all parking fines, other fines and penalties incurred during the period of hire.
  • I agree to pay all rental charges, the £250 refundable security deposit, a cleaning fee of £25 if the vehicle is not returned with the interior in a clean condition.
  • In the event of an accident, loss or damage, I will obtain the names and addresses of third parties and witnesses, and notify the owners immediately.
  • I agree to use the vehicle only on sealed/bitumen roads (unless for campsite access)
  • I agree to drive the vehicle in a cautious, prudent manner.
