Conversion Story

I bought Skylark in Spring 2019 and spent 3 months designing, making and fitting out in line with my vision of a high-spec, completely original van. The boiler, LPG tank, water tank and heater are all mounted underneath to keep her uncluttered. She's got a traditional and homely feel with the handmade kitchen, tiled splashback, breadboard-ended oak worktop and oak drainer above the belfast sink.

As a carpenter, I used spalted wood I've kept for over 17 years waiting for the perfect project and Skylark's table was ideal (for any Bristolians out there, the large London Plane, felled when Bristol center was revamped). She drives lovely and has great MPG, the best in her class. I have fitted a reversing camera to ensure you don't knock over those pesky pedestrians over. The van has a large roof-rack and canoes can be provided for extra fun times.
